Since April 2017 organisations throughout the UK have been paying into the Government’s Apprenticeship Levy – but many people still aren’t entirely sure how to utilise this pot of cash.
This investment, if not spent before the deadline (April 2019 for any funds invested in April 2017) will be lost, meaning that the organisations who paid it in won’t be able to access the money any more.
With that knowledge in mind, and knowing that your organisation has been investing in this Levy for eighteen months, unsure how to see the benefits of this investment, we have planned an Apprenticeship Public/Open Course, a taster course, if you will, which will bring together staff from a number of organisations who want to see the benefits of this development opportunity for their workforce, but don’t want to risk investing all of their Levy funding without more information.
We have worked to develop the best Leadership and Management apprenticeships, designed for those in Team Leader and Middle Manager roles, to help you to make the most of your Levy investments before the opportunity is gone, and we can show you how to benefit from the learning and development of your leaders without any kind of financial risk, and benefit from the growing confidence and ability of your leaders.
Apprenticeships have long had a stigma – thought of as the poor sibling of further education – but those days are gone. Apprentices aren’t just teenagers who don’t want to go to college, nor are they the arena of manual labour or hard graft.
Our modern apprenticeships are, in fact, a widely respected professional management qualification – and we take huge pride in the Management and Leadership Apprenticeships we run, which can develop the skills and understanding of leaders, supervisors and managers, helping them to climb to the top of the career ladder, and to develop the growth and success of your organisation.
We know that the new guidelines haven’t always been very clear – and we understand that some organisations are wary of their next steps, which is why we are planning these public/open cohorts; bringing together a number of organisations, each putting forward one or two people to take part in our Level 3 and Level 5 courses for Leaders and Managers. Level 3 is ideal for those aspiring to be, or currently in, team leader or supervisor roles, learning in-position and applying their knowledge and new skills as part of the course. The Level 5 course is aimed at middle managers, or aspiring middle managers, and those wanting to take the next step in their career, and build their confidence in this leadership position as they train.
